Desoto Concrete Products, Inc. began operations in 1988 as a part of Olive Branch Ready Mix. The ready mix was owned by my wife’s mother who was a tough and well-respected business owner in Desoto County. She brought customers to our business right from the start.
Over the next few years, the business grew and we added products in order to diversify. She retired in 1993 and we were on our own at that point. We immediately started serving a larger area and now serve all of north Mississippi and beyond.
Fast forward to 2003, and we now have a wastewater treatment plant tested at N.S.F. This part of the business has become our main focus because it allowed us to expand our business to other states. Although, we have distributors outside of north Mississippi, we have preferred to maintain our focus here.
